Xia Ye, Haoyun Doll Studio, Real, 20260920

It's really sad that Haoyun Doll Studio is temporarily closed just after I purchased this sculpt. If they don't end up coming back, this guy will hold the bittersweet title of sculpt from the most short-lived studio in my collection! 😕

The previous record holder came from a studio that had been operating for three years, while Haoyun Doll Studio has only been around for a single year. The sculptor is so talented, and fully hand-sculpted heads are becoming rare these days. I definitely prefer hand-sculpted heads and don't obsess over symmetry, even if the asymmetry makes doing face-ups a bit trickier sometimes!
